First we have the subject of Charity and the results of a stunningly good day. Great food, good entertainment and fun had by all apart from the odd miserable sod (well there's always one isn't there?) and even decent weather despite the forecasts! But best news of all is that the event raised around £2,000 for Del's nominated charity. A good pre-event for the main event of Delfest to be held in the coming months again for charity - keep an eye open for details!
The Cribbage league continues and in the 2nd round things have sped up somewhat with some players either having finished all or nearly finished their matches for this round. As of this moment Andy is in an unassailable lead unless we decide to have a 3rd round and suffer another drubbing at his hands no doubt! Regardless though all continue to have fun, even Del who had a bit of a mare this Wednesday having lost 3 matches in a row all 3-0. I guess there is karma after all and he used all his luck up on the superb charity event results.
