First we have the subject of Charity and the results of a stunningly good day.  Great food, good entertainment and fun had by all apart from the odd miserable sod (well there's always one isn't there?) and even decent weather despite the forecasts!  But best news of all is that the event raised around £2,000 for Del's nominated charity.  A good pre-event for the main event of Delfest to be held in the coming months again for charity - keep an eye open for details!

Loads of winners at Bingo last Monday night (4/9/23), ranging from £60 to £15.  Roll over jackpot has now reached £135 which is estimated to rise to £170 next Monday.  Ticket sales start at 5.30 next Monday with Bingo commencing at 7pm.  All are welcomed, although of course first come first served!

Well we are rapidly approaching the end of the first round robin of matches for 2023, the next 2-3 weeks are reserved for players with outstanding matches to catch up.  At this point the runaway leader is Andy with 28 out of 30 possible points and is looking unassailable.  However coming up strongly in recent weeks are both Colin and Ross who are currently on 20 and 19 points respectively.  It should make round 2 of the current season quite interesting when that starts in a few weeks time and we see if Andy can be caught or not before the end of the season.  If you want to check out the current standings or outstanding games click on the links.

Wednesday Nights are Cribbage Night!  This is a fun activity for people of all skill levels, we have people in the league who have literally played all their lives, others (like me your friendly webmaster) who only learned to play about 7 weeks ago.
