Well we are rapidly approaching the end of the first round robin of matches for 2023, the next 2-3 weeks are reserved for players with outstanding matches to catch up. At this point the runaway leader is Andy with 28 out of 30 possible points and is looking unassailable. However coming up strongly in recent weeks are both Colin and Ross who are currently on 20 and 19 points respectively. It should make round 2 of the current season quite interesting when that starts in a few weeks time and we see if Andy can be caught or not before the end of the season. While the Cribbage league is in full flow the Yahtzee league will soon be launching. Not only is this game a bit more laid back than Cribbage, it also features a more laid back approach to playing and scoring. Whereas Cribbage is typically on a Wednesday evening anyone wanting to play in the Yahtzee league can play any day or evening of their choice against whoever happens to be in Samphire. They will of course be required to score on the official sheets so a record can be kept, but apart from that the rules are very relaxed, if you need to know how to play Yahtzee check out this page.
